About

Jigsaw

A bit about the preschool

Jigsaw is a long-established preschool, running for over 35 years. Being set in the heart of Crewkerne, enables us to make the most of what the community has to offer, the children enjoy activities such as visiting the local surroundings shopping for their snacks, having story time at the library and making the most of the field and park on our doorstep. As well as spending time at our local nature reserve.

Providing a language rich environment and stimulating learning opportunities, to scaffold your child’s life long love of learning. Understanding the importance of having good relationships with parents and other professionals.

Each child having their own keyworker to ensure that their individual needs are met, building positive relationships.

Our Intent…..

To nurture and enrich each child’s Jigsaw journey, through playful experiences in a language rich, warm, safe and caring environment. Embedding a lifelong love of learning.

Implementation…..

Through our curriculum, the stages of development, covering the 7 educational programmes and understanding how our children at Jigsaw develop and learn through their own interests and play.

Impact…..

To enable children to move on from their Jigsaw journey with confidence, curiosity and enthusiasm to engage with a love of learning.
